Haters gonna hate, kudos to you for not doing the same boring thing that everyone else does. Just one thing, put the license plate where it belongs and lower it a little.

I'm old enough to have been driving an E21 in college in 1984 so I remember that era well. Everything is correct except they were not doing smoked rear tail lights back then. If you go back to Roundel magazines circa 1984 you'll see ads to buy the square headlight conversions. Only the coolest guys did that.

The coolest cars went complete monochrome, so you would want to paint out the front grilles red. And if you are feeling randy, paint out the black trim surrounds at the bumpers.

Two minor items that BMWs of that era had were aftermarket little fins that you put on the arms of the front wiper in theory this pushed the wiper arms down more. Probably didn't really work but looked cool.

Also, little reflectors that you put on the back edge of the doors. Happy hunting for those.

I had both on my E21

Chrome trim on the wheel arches was super cool. I didn't have the coin for that.

Only +1 on the wheel size. If you can find Pirelli P6 tires, those were the thing to have.

On the inside, coco floor mats and sheep skin seat covers.

I realize that skydiving ride height is a thing of the 80's, but that thing definitely needs a drop.

I've seen those headlights in person, IMO they don't fit the e30's lines.
