    why wouldn't you want the front to be lexan if you're racing?
    RAIN, mostly, but also hazing/crazing/sandblasting. You can't run a wiper on Lexan.

    It's also really hard to defog in certain conditions.

    And it's not THAT much lighter than glass, in the thickness needed for a front windshield.

    Having tried one in an EP 2002...

    this will be a bolt/screw on kit..your ability to roll down windows will be lost. i'm going to begin working on the kit this weekend and i'll keep you guys posted. i'll announce price once i'm able to get complete pricing.

    usually when you do a lexan window, you're racing the car and a lot of guys will take out the window motor and regulator for the weight savings. I doubt the window will allow for the motor and regulator to work.
