Different mtech 2 wheels both fit?

As some of you know...there are 2 different mtech 2 wheels. I know some of you have the Mtech 2 steering wheels. Do they bolt right in? Straight swap from factory SRS wheel?

Does the 2nd one bolt in just like the 1st one?

What are you talking about? Curvy straight? huh?

Either way no, SRS cars will not accept another e30 steering wheel directly. You need to make a spacer.

The 2 pieces that come horizontally out of the middle section of the steering wheel. How big of a spacer do I need? Can I buy one somewhere?

They both fit, the larger wheel is from the E34. The spacer is pretty much two washers under the nut. It's really easy to do.

So I can just buy washers that fit there and use 2 of them to make it work?

The steering wheel is going to be closer to the stalks, but it doesn't bother me. I just went to HD, grabbed a few washers, and threw them in there. Make sure you disconnect the battery and such if you're removing SRS.

So it WILL bolt right in? It will just be closer towards the dash unless I space it out a little with washers?

You can do that, but then your horn won't work. The spacers go inbetween the wheel and the nut in the center cap. The nut doesn't go all the way down without the spacers. The wheel will bolt in though.

Just so you know, the E34 M-Tech wheel is a fair bit larger than the E30 wheel, the tops of your legs will probably hit it.

I don't know how it is in Indiana, but your horn needs to work in order for your car to pass inspection in NY.

Horns are dumb. All a horn does is say "screeeeeeeeeew yoooooooou".
