    Just as ridiculous as a $100k S85 E30 vs. a stock Mustang.

Anyway, it seems stock 5th gen GTs run mid to low 14s, so it won't be THAT hard to take one from a roll, but they are built to get up and go off the line, whereas E30s are definitely not.

A hooked up e30 would cost you less than buying the stock mustang. So, even if you do see an '06 mustang that can hang with a tuned e30, the dope driving the mustang still spent 3 times as much. So... I'd say the e30 is the smarter way to go.
That and the main thing is a stock mustang is incredibly lame and boring.

My vote is supercharged m52. Get some FI cams and turn up the boost. You'll eat mustangs all day long.

    One of my personal favorites:

Is it is 6 or 8cyl mustang? You can beat a mustang of both types with a simple m50 swap. They are HEAVY and 300hp is not much.

I am sure my m50tub/4.10LSD with light mods will smash one. But I am gutting my DD and run just recaro front seats. We will see, my neighbor has a GT with lots and lots of mods. I still was 1 second behind at the auto-x on winter tires(my new ones were a day late) But a 1/4 mile is a different world.

Good eye, you caught that.. I edited it to what I had intended. That's why I hate posting from a touch-screen phone.. I just posted that to stir stuff up, my E30 was way faster than a Mustang until I took it apart.

he is saying he doesnt care about handling.

so 4 cylinder and rotary swaps are out.

i think he should swap the quad turbo bugatti veyron motor in there. lots of torque and acceleration.

So you want mainly torque and acceleration? I thought maybe you wanted a motor for the fuh raze chrome valve covers

Anyway to get in touch with the guy who did it. I've got a couple of m42's and eta's are cheap.

Actually, if you reread what the guy wrote he used a double negative, so maybe he was trying to say he thinks an e30 could be faster than a rustang.. I think those ones only had 300HP anyways so a swapped e30 would be much faster.

Its all about those that wanna roll in style but still be sipping fuel.
not trying to be a hater, but the driver in the turbo car said he keeps loosing traction and is going to turn the boost down. I wonder if he ever though about not putting his foot to the floor, that is old skool traction control.
