Gas sloshing cause fuel cutout?

    I had a similar issue on track when I'd approach 1/8th tank level. Since replacing the fuel pumps, I have yet to encounter an issue with fuel cut out. I'd suspect a tired intank pump as mentioned above.

      I don't have that issue with my gas tank, but it happens to my washer tank. And then the annoying little light is on until I turn the car off . . .

        i have had the same exact problem as the OP.

        it sometimes happens taking right turns with about half a tank. its really urking me what it might be, but i really dont have the time to look.

        i had it happen really bad once, where i took a 90deg right turn (kinda a long one) and it was fine until i hit the gas. it started choking and lurching really bad. i cut the engine and pulled over. gave it some time to chill out then started it. it had a very erratic idle and the CEL was on. i tried to rev it a bit. it did rev, but like if you were stomping on the gas pedal on and off, on and off. i just had it AAA towed home for free. when i got it home, i started it, the CEL went out and its been fine ever since....
