Steering wheel gap, where to look?

Hi, i recently started to feel a steering wheel gap like 3/4 to an inch before the car gets to turn right or left. I checked on the lower u joint that connects the shaft to the rack and yes it has some play, so will replacing the flex disc solve my issue or is there somewhere i am missing to look at?

Problem 2 is: like 10 days ago i installed 15mm drophats and since yesterday ive been hearing a noise from front right. Its not a thud, clunk or click noise its more like hmmm... Well imagine when you bounce a basketball very quick and low.. Yeah thats it! So can it be a balljoint??

Please let me know what you think

Its probably your Recaro's. Take them off and send em to me, and I'll send you the comforts out of my iX back. That should fix the problem. Thanks.

any way the noise could be from the springs being too short and bouncing a but ehrn you hit bumps. i think i have the same noise.
