if it is primarily a dd, or primarly street with light track use, I would build it as a street car.

Not the older single VANOS systems, the newer dual VANOS engines are.

I would think sense you are using it for DD/tracking the tu would be what you are looking for. You get around the same performance and would get a bit better mpg for driving around town. Correct me if I am wrong, but that is what is sounds like you are looking for.

But as you stated on facebook last night you have m50nv coming out your ass. So do the nv and be done with it.

I would use what you got, not a tremendous difference.

then again, I dont think the M50 is a huge difference over the M20.

Depends on what m20. I got the eta and that is going to be worlds different with the m50tu.

yeah, a stock M50 would be cheaper than 885 head and compression.

Greg, are you serious? Or are you just hearing other people's thoughts? I thought you'd know all of this.

I didn't realize the NV pulled harder up top, that's quite interesting. Anyways, greg you're not building an m50 street car. There is no way you'd do that, so why the thread?

I love the tq of the m52. But I get your point greg... but then why not just go for the rev happy m20b25? God that thing is fun to wind out.
Danny was saying why it was better. The former of the reply was to tell you a quick "this and what it does thus my latter statement is supported."
