Well anyways, the e30 manual only covers 84-90, so you would also need a manual that covers the M42 for engine work.

it also doesnt cover convertibles very well, but it's only small stuff thats missing (like the location of rsm). you're car should be covered or atleast have enough info to warrant downloading it from r3v.

You need the e36 bentley for the m42 engine.
