What's up with the "it's cool to say your car is a piece" trend lately?

          no kidding...

the e30 is the ///mistress, or whatever explitive i want to insert when something is fucking up

couldn't really name the e36, it lacks some personality... so with it's license plate somewhat sounding like it, i named it Zeek, although i reguarly refer to it as the blue bastard....

have your car get inspected and look up and down the rusty underbody and see all the leaks pointed out. if it wasn't an old car you could laugh at, it'd be sad. and our cars are cheap and old, and live with it.

I'm not saying they're not pieces. Most of our cars are 15-20 years old and look like it.

I'm just referring to it being 'cool' to downtalk your car. It's dumb.

True. It's the new R3V fad, don't ya know? But it's good to keep realistic though. Oh well. (better than trying to be hard driving a rusty old bimmer like it's cool....except for when me and Nease do it )

Am I the only one who doesn't hate my car? Well my 325i anyway, my Eta really is a piece. I love my 325i, it's in better condition than some cars only a few years old I have seen. But maybe I am bias since so many parts now only have about 250 miles on them ;)

My car has two nicknames...... the one that's stuck on right now it's #18, for the numbers of the drifting competition I was on. I left the numbers on the windshield and rear window.

But my other nickname is when the age factor kicks in and things start breaking down.

MR, don't get me wrong, I love my car. More than most other cars I've ever driven. (Telling Nease I like driving it more than most E36M's) It's just that it is a noisy, raw, stiff, rugged, rusty, leaking piece of shit old car.

I know my car is 14 years old but I don't consider it old for some reason.

I seriously don't know if right now I could be happy with an E36/46... I prefer the old school shit I suppose
