same here. Somehow I don't feel like my car is 15 years old. Maybe because my eta was 20 years old. I just really like the stlye of it. I don't really have a name for it although I talk to it everytime I'm driving. I actually think it is in better shape than most of the "newer" cars I driven in and def. has more style. I also don't consider my car a piece of shit, just mature with quirks :D

I dont think it is cool, I kind of hate my car. I like new cars better (as of the past couple of weeks). The car I am currently driving is much nicer that mine.

My last E30 was called Kozmo. The girl I bought it from had named it that, and it just fit the car.

I'm still trying to think of a name for the new one. :D Any suggestions?

Am I the only one who doesn't hate my car? Well my 325i anyway, my Eta really is a piece. I love my 325i, it's in better condition than some cars only a few years old I have seen. But maybe I am bias since so many parts now only have about 250 miles on them ;)

Hahaha. Truth be told, my eta is about the same shape as your eta or worse. I still got vision for it though. I already like it more then any other car I've driven in my family. It can only get better too, considering my canvas I'm starting with.

I just call it E. Anyone who has seen Gone In 60 Seconds (remake with Angelina Jolie and Nicholas Cage) would have to agree a stock eta isn't an "Eleanor" yet.

What's up with the "it's cool to say your car is a piece" trend lately?

have your car get inspected and look up and down the rusty underbody and see all the leaks pointed out. if it wasn't an old car you could laugh at, it'd be sad. and our cars are cheap and old, and live with it.

just because your car is rusty doesn't mean mine is.. I was just looking under there today, no rust anywhere, except the factory exhaust, and that barely has any on it..

as far as leaks, I've never known of any car that doesn't leak something eventually. although I did finally fix my coolant leak today, and at the same time my TPS (finally!). I don't really care about topping off my PS fluid every 6 months though. ;)

I waited a long time for that name. She is a bitch of a powerful woman on a show I love.

ANYWAY, found out after I named her: Leila means "dark beauty" in arabic. Although I have never athenticated that, I thought it fit! Her being schwartz and all.

I sometimes call her my little girl. There has been a lot of "Look at my little girl on that trailer!!" My dad, I am sure, is sick of hearing it.
