        A better question, why are people trying to argue the point that an X5/X6 is a truck? Not to mention the fact that their motors were based on the E60/E65 V8's...

          the X5M is hardly a truck...i hate when people call SUVs 'trucks.' this whole cummins diesel argument is like saying 'school buses are yellow, so all yellow cars must be school buses.' yes, it's a heavier, larger vehicle. but if i was a contractor or a guy with a toyhauler, i'd rather buy a 2500HD optioned out for $80k than an X5 for whatever similar price. X5M was meant to GO not to haul...hence the M..
