Sharpie car, should I?

Yeah I want to do something with old school videogame stuff and some engine parts but I'm finding it hard to combine the two. Ah well, I'm gonna have a few drinks and see if that helps the ideas flow. ;) -
I agree, Vic. Right now I think I am torn too many different directions when it comes to style. Graffiti, hard and sharp, soft and flowing, pop culture, bmw themed.... I think I have researched too much. LOL.Leave a comment:

I don't know if this helps any, but I would avoid getting too bogged down in details to begin with. If you start with some large, sweeping strokes that accentuate the lines of the body panel and then add detail around them that might help keep the project from becoming too busy.Leave a comment:

Same. I got out my wacom tablet and have been trying to come up with ideas that integrate certain items but it's turning out to be hard as hell. I haven't drawn anything since like 2004. :(Leave a comment:

That is a good question. Basically, I like the sharpie idea due to the understated look. Lots of other cool ideas out there. But most involve color. I want to avoid that.
Making head way. Sketching this out is proving to be harder then I thought. I like where it is headed, but not there yet.Leave a comment:

why do a sharpie?
If you want some art on your car then do something new and unique.

Yeah every one of those cars is unbelievably sick and none of them are e30's (except OP) so it's hard to say it's played out. Nice work man, I love it. I wanna draw a really shitty panda on a white hood and put it on black 325ix winter beater. Maybe I'll get a white trunk and draw a cute panda butt on it too.Leave a comment:

Dunno, I like the Miata like that... Be kinda fun to play with, and it's not like you couldn't just paint over it if you didn't like it after a while.Leave a comment:
