I ordered a Maxpedition Sitka, and supposedly Pantac is sending me a bag in trade for an evaluation and complete write up... We will see how they stand up!

The major things I want to carry will be:
1. Laptop
2. Engineer pad/notebook (i'm having custom ones made if anyone is interested)
3. Water Bottle (1L Nalgene...I drink over a gallon a day)
4. Pens/Pencils
5. Tape Measure
6. Calculator
7. Folders/Files
8. Multi-tool
9. Keys/cell/wallet
10. dedicate knife (hate the one on the gerber)
11. Gun (current ccw is too large in summer attire)
12. Extra mag
13. Flash Light (mini-mag)
14. Advil/Adderall (hence needing organization)
15. Paracord (hadn't thought about that, but sounds handy, i'm stealin it)
16. Calipers/Digital Level/various other instruments

where you been lately have not seen much of you. All though I just pulled a 36 hour shift and have been working lots of 12's so it might be me.

sorry for no updates. I have both bags and both are actually fantastic in their own respects and for their different functions. I've actually switched to the Pantac for full on daily work carry due to the nature of the pack and the laptop padded area. No name brand or not, the materials and hardware used are top notch and so is the stiching.

I've used the Maxped bag the past few weekends, the first being a jaunt to Helen Ga. for Oktoberfest at which point, i carried about everyone's crap and all the souvenir mugs i could manage to drink down. The second was this past weekend at Road Atlanta for Petit Le Mans, where it functioned to carry swag, water, and my meds (and advil for everyone at the camp site for the mornings...*HANGOVER*)

The only additions I've made were to purchase some MALICE clips, and Grimlocks for use on the webbing. The maxped came with an m4 mag pouch that fits my cell phone perfectly, and a Haffafug that at this time has nothing in it, but looks nice wearing my name plate and flag. ha

ha, as far as paracord, i probably now have 20' on me at all times. stupid stormdrane making things look so cool! haha
