E30-330i, are you saying what I think you're saying?

Are you going into "The Ring"? In what? When? How?

We sure have 'em here, though.

Mark D'Sylva's M5. 255's all around, breakin' 'em in at the auto-x last weekend. 8)

When I spend cash on new "17 tires I´m getting the Toyo T1-R for sure,

I´ll have my "15 BBS ones and some tires for drifting and fooling around,
and my "17 for bling and traction

As others have pointed-out, the T-1R is the replacement for the fabulous T-1S. The only "major" change to the T-1R is a stiffer sidewall that is supposed to improve turn-in. Personally, I like the softer sidewall of the T-1S on a street tire, and the late turn-in is something I grew to love about it. The T-1R will likely ride stiffer than the T-1S (the T-1R should ride similiar to the Bridgestone S-03 Pole Position).

The T-1R is available through Canadian dealers now, if you wanna pony-up the $$$. Last I heard, it was getting final US certification and should be available here "by summer".

For the money, you can't get a better tire than a Toyo T-1S IMO.
