NOT THAT BIG OF A LOSS!!!!!!!! WTF thousands and thousands of people died on a single day in a the WORST foreign attack on U.S. soil EVER!

The only other moment in the entire United States history similar to 9/11 was Pearl Harbor, and it threw the nation headfirst into the second World War. More people died in 9/11 than Pearl Harbor, and most in NYC/philly were civilians, which makes it even worse than in Hawaii.

As for other parts of the world.......this shit only matters to the Media if it happens in the Western World, and the American people only know what the TV tells us. Sadly enough, no one cares about the murdering of innocent people in Africa. (But that again would be one more war for us to fight......and try to find funds for, and argue over. Plus, none of the sick bastards in Rwanda, etc. are coming to the states. But after we get done in the middle east, we should clean up all the humanity violations in Africa!)

You should expect to get flamed a lot. You said some fucked up shit. Everyone is entitled to their own opinions, but 9/11 is not some little event, it is the largest loss to a single attack of a foreign force in America.......ever.

p.s. I feel a lock coming down soon enough............

I'm merely expressing what the rest of the world thinks, and dont tell me that (some) of the world doesnt feel like this because half of your asses have never left Podunk, USA. You'd be surprised how many other Americans, in the military, feel this way. Not everyone joins just to "defend the greatest country in the world." It's not THAT great of a place, if you ask me. Coming from someone who lived in Europe and South America for 6 years. But, then again, most of you havent been out of the US, so you wouldnt know much better. I will retract what I said earlier, though. About it not being that big of a loss. I was out of line in saying that.

you all realize that in many countries throughout the world americans are looked upon as dumb arrogant over zealous slobs with little to no education?

FYI America isnt the end all be all of countries. Accept it. That doesnt mean I'm not proud to be American, but it does mean that I realize we could be a hell of a lot better.

              Below the radar...

Yeah they may consider us under-educated slobs but why do they all bust their ass to try to get over here? Thanks for retracting your statement their latino. But if people in the military dont think they need to defend the place that signs their check, then why the hell are they in the services? Other than the fact that half of them are losers and cant get a job outside of mcdonald's or a construction site.

...or cant afford to have mommy and daddy pay for college, so they have to make ends meet in other ways.

May I ask what your job is in the Navy? I am also in the military, however i cannot tell you what i am training to do due...it raises too many questions im not at liberty to answer. I will tell you that I am in the Air Force and will work closely with the Army. I think plenty of these board members realize that many other Americans don't feel the same way they do. I, for example, am not the biggest, blind-follower patriot to say the least either. However, I know that the U.S. military does what needs to be done to promote peace and if that means me being no more, so be it. Yes, there are other nations that allow a similar amount of freedom, contain more culture, and promote more pride...but take a good look at them for who sticks around when the shit hits the fan.

Because he's american, and has this pesky thing called the first amendmant that allows him to voice an opinion, no matter how unpopular.

This thread has outlived its usefulness.
