Would look loads better without so much chrome. I still am not sure if they'd look even ok. Without any other sufficiently matching body parts, I just think they would look very out of place. With matching body parts they don't look good either. I'd say don't run them and try to find a (foolish) buyer or hold onto them as relics from the 80's.

Not sure who's car is in the Picture, I just searched Testarossa and found someone who snapped this picture in the socal chat thread.

I had these on my first e30. Also my first 'sports car". That was like 8 years ago. I thought they were the shiz back then. I will have to agree with the 'If I were building a drift car' then yes....otherwise, not so much.

                  But it's your car d00d!

Ok so how does one go about installing these things? Screws on the inside of the fenders? I have no idea how to mount fiberglass body components. I'm guessing you lay fiberglass over once they're mounted to cover the gap between the skirt and the car?

I've got them so I might as well mount them, too bad I have no idea how.

I only ask about the screws in the fenders because there are already holes where it looks like its been done before.

Double sided auto body tape on the top and screws on the bottom (where you cant see) then screws in the wheel well areas.

What about laying fiberglass over the seams?

do you mean between the body and fiberglass?

no, FG will not perminately bong to the steel. it will crack at some point. maybe in a year, maybe in a day, but it will crack.

                          lol "bong" i mean bond.

Damn they don't look bad at all on that black car, however I wonder how it would look on anything but black, with that black rubber trim, especially if you have the chrome trim as I do. Planning on spraying it with Cosmic Blue Metallic.

Thanks for the input Monkey, I threw my skirts on with just screws in the fender and there is a bit more gap than with the black car, not sure how to make the gap less noticeable.
