    The final battle is so tragic...man that was truly a great movie. I don't know if it can surpass the greatest war epic of all time...

    Saving Private Ryan. Although these are two completely different wars, the premise of each is partially the same, regarding the famous slogan "war is hell".

                I saw it two nights ago. It was really a great movie. There were great battle scenes but nothing over the top. The story was great, and the scenery was unbelievable.
