    318is PROJECT UPDATE

Not sure if anyone remembers the wrecked 1991 318is that Grant had for sale in the classifieds a while back. It was wrecked in the front. Well anyway, after replacing the core support, the fan, the consender, and some misc stuff from a junkyard diamondswarz 318i, it's nearly complete. Tomorrow my diamondswarz color hood will be here to bolt-on. I made one good valance out of 2 (to save money and to keep from putting on my new BMW front valance) and a diamonswarz front bumper, it's on the road. :) Here's some before and after pics. I'm taking it to the shop where I work tomorrow to put it on a lift and flush the diff, the tranny, the brakes and the a/c. working at a dealer has it's perks I guess since the pay sucks!
I know I'm cheap for now on buying stock-painted pieces, but someday I'll finish it up with a fresh paint job.

AFTER CORE SUPPORT, BEFORE HOOD ETC.

it was well worth the price I thought. Tight original car with all the records.

Grant still asks me if it was worth keeping. i said yes, but im honestly glad it went to a better owner like you. Its awesome to see that car get fixed, as i really liked the interior especially.

        Good job!

well I wasn't sure at first, his dad asked me the same thing, was it worth repairing. But depends on who owns it just like you said. To me, it's worth it because it's not beat to shit. I had it up on the lift today, getting new control arms and bushings first thing next week :) got the swarz hood on it this morning. Thanks for the hook up Kyle :)
