He was listing common problem area's with the e36's that most people (including myself) have to face every day due to a previous owners negligence. Now thats not to say that you can't find a nice e36, but that the majority of them have these problems, and (like all cars), have their down falls.

the e30 runs 15.9 in the quarter. what do you expect. most new v6 sedans run low 14s. a v6 maxima will run 14.2. doesnt mean its a better car.

you need to learn how to get a better handle on your woman.

I was thinking about a new car about 2 years ago, but now I am glad I stayed with the E30. It looks so much better now with the Mtech Kit, new interior from Kevin at Creative options, and rims, etc. The new seats look better than a new 335i that my friend has.

After I put the S52 in, it would pull most crap driving around on the road and was a blast to drive. You can do the swap, body mods, interior, etc for a lot less than the new car. (Even having a shop do the swap for you)

Now when I get her back next week with the new brakes and S50B32, that will be another story....

Keep the E30, and fix it. I think it handles and drives better than most crap you can get today..

My gf loves my e30 because she doesn't get wet when she rides in it in the rain like my fox mustang, stupid 80s ford t-tops. And its way better than the car I was driving when we started dating


But I got that thing for $250

So get something worse then she will want the e30 back. Or just dump her.

My wedding present to my wife was an e30 (rebuilt suspension, engine and interior) she couldnt be happier with it and wont let me sell it for another one.....time for a new gf
