by god, I think you are on to something...

    seroiusly though,

my wife hates my car "hobby". the e30's get no love...they are in project stage though, so it is not a surprise.
she does like the family car though.

have 2 cars. problem solved. you can be emasculated when you drive with her in the "girl car" and still have your e30.

ps "family car is an 07' dodge ram quad cab 4x4" needed all the seats for kids.

yep.. i drive a piece of crap 87 325e 4 dr.. I've had iS, eS everything... as a daily driver it runs perfect 140k.. got it for $400.. well it was rear ended.... dont judge it's a perfect daily... i put some recaro sports up front... filled up the a/c.. drove it all summer long.. my girlfriend loves it... i do love vw's too.. i have a mk2 vr6.. she had a 2002 jetta 2.0.. she got rid of it.. and got a 95 325iS.. she likes e30's but prefers the e36 over the e30.. but she has alot of BMW love... something wrong man... high-class perhaps? Girls tend to like bubbly looking clean paint perfect interior cars... every girl i've ever met.. the interior and paint and body gotta be pretty clean and they'll rock anything older.. they just tend to like new cars well because they are in great shape... they spend hr's on their hair why would they ride in something that sounds like a bad rollercoaster ride... just make it smooth.. and she should love it.. if not well you know what to do.... kick a fieldgoal... maybe she'll expect you to get a brand new 500k house too... you gotta tell the girls whats up on day 1! this is my bmw it's badass.. nuff said..

So what about an is250? I linda like them, esp. for the RWD and toyota reliability. Most can be had reasonably cheap, and the auto trannys are pretty reliable (we are moving to Van city in Oct.)/

Any other sporty/nice cars you'd suggest?
Eliminate your name from this forum..... Your gf dictates the car you drive and you cant identify one of the most iconic, bulletproof, worthwhile cars in BMW history.

May I suggest a new Beetle?? (there, I added something positive)

ITT: BMW owners prove that stereotypes attributed to them are accurate.

    I have a 1989 C&D next to my toilet, that states an 88 325is runs 15.4.
