A new Mtech2 could be hard to piece together. I believe that the front valance is NLA. There is a member of R3v that has a couple for $400 right now but once those are gone they will become more difficult to find "new" ones. Mtech has the ribs (very cool) and is found on early model cars but is a little harder to find even used. Mtech2 was on late model cabrios here in the U.S. and the side skirts would have to be custom fit to your 4 door. I am not sure how the door skirts would work but my guess is that you would need two for each side and have to trim them to fit your doors.
As far as the kit goes I would go IS it will be simpler to find and install and you would still be unique. Although, I am not sure if they made the IS kit for the 4 door though.
If you go Mtech for just the front and rear valance and bumpers with one of the Mtech tails that may be the ticket. I prefer the Mtech1 tail to the Mtech2 wing but there are some nice cars out there with the wing that look hot.

Not entirely true, BMW did make a 4dr Mtech2 kit. Its not exactly common (same as the 2dr kit isn't exactly common) but you can find them. Also the cabrio's have different (deeper) sills to the sedan/coupe and therefore the skirts for cabrio and sedan are specific.

The 'is skirts are generic for 2-4dr cause there are no 'door pod' bits like there are for the Mt2.
I voted Mtech2 cause I think it looks best (but I'm biased). But it depends on what colour/model e30 you own! If you have an early model I'd vote Mtech1 especially if your e30's a metallic colour, but good luck finding a kit... If you have a late model go either 'is or Mtech2. If you can get the 'is lip+skirts with a Mtech1 bootlid spoiler you will definitely be happy too.
If you decide to go for either Mtech kit be prepared to pay for it (unless you get a fibreglass kopi kit and spend the time making it fit).
All are great options...even stock. Assuming all kits are done correctly, I would prolly go with an MT1 but just by a bit over an MT2. But then again, Im keeping my stock looking cabrio over my MT2 cabrio (which is FS). To each their own.
