    Guage swap??????

Okay so I just bought my first e30. Its a 325es with a 325i engine and trans in it, the guages are original so it doesn't have the gauges from a 325i, would I be able to swap them or is it not worth it? Thoughts? Suggestions?
    Thanks

You also have to swap the coding chip. In Motometer clusters, it's a white block thingy on the lower front right of the cluster, in VDO clusters it's a black pin in the back of the tach.

So its not plug and play. Cause right now my tach only goes to 5k, but I do have a 325i motor/tranny so I know its not correct.

It's plug and play. The coding chip/pin is easily inserted and removed.

I installed a 7K rpm tach into my ETA cluster yesterday. Works fine.
