From one of my Audi guys that I know. That is a 1985 Sport Quattro. It is a factory short wheelbase car they built as a homologation special for the S2. It was also the prototype for the 20c engine. It is the predecessor for the AAN & 3B. The car has about 12in cut out right behind the driver's door. The flares are also wider and made out of carbon fiber. The wheels are 15x9. There were only about 200 total made with only and handful brought to the states.Comment

This is incorrect
Edit* These cars are commonly confused with the long wheel base 10vt Quattro (AKA urQuattro) Edit*
The engine is a KW.
214 were built, this one, is one of only 164 in road going trim.
128 were in red.
11 were "officially"imported to the states.
This car came stock with the first production 20vt engine from Audi, rated at 302bph/244lb.ft @4500 RPM
AAN Engine first were featured in the 92-96 S4.
MC Engine was seen in the 5000 turbo.
Audi had to build over 200 of these cars to satisfy the homologation requirements to run this car in Group B.
Not all 214 cars are still alive. Quite a few were built for "spares", some even didn't have engines, and of course, some were the actual rally cars themselves.Last edited by Sepp; 09-28-2010, 08:09 PM.Originally posted by 416strokerwell Fünfgang or whatever is the new ubernasty a whoreComment
