Does anyone know how to reset the oil service light?

I would get that if I had the extra money, just spent a butt load on new parts and stuff so maybe if I can find another one a little ways down I think I can handle my light for that long haha. Thanks by the way I didn't know thats how they did it I thought there was a button to push somewhere (my friend who had an e36 told me)

Under your hood is the diagnostic ports. Put a stripped wire or bent paper clip between terminals 7 and 19 in and turn the key to power on (but not to crank) and for 5 seconds and it'll reset the light.
