Went to Italy, saw an interesting car (56k, maybe not)

I spent the last week in Milan Italy because I was displaying some of my work at the Milan Furniture Fair. While there we saw this car on the street, a friend of mine suspects that it is a kit car on a VW Beetle frame but I thought I'd ask if any of you knew.

And the rest of the trip...

    Ferarri F430

A few years back I passed up a chance to go to Italy for 3 weeks. At the time too much was going on at home with work and school. I'm still kicking myself for not going

I hope to go someday. A gorgeous place indeed. So much to take in....the scenery, women, cars, women, historical points of interest, women, great food, and women :D

When I was in Milan about a year ago I saw a 993 GT3RS and about a block away was a Lambo Murcialago.

I would reccomend skipping Milan. Although I had a great time there Florence, Venice, and Rome are supposed to be much nicer.

Anybody know anything about that car at the top?

Yeah, Florence was awesome. Its the leather capital of the world so they have really nice jackets are stuff. Also check out Rome of course, and Pompeii. I didn't go to Venice but i hear its really nice as well.

well I found out what it is, it's a FunTech 500 made by a French company called Secma. It has 21hp from a 500cc 2 cylinder and weighs 400kg (880lb). In France (and Italy) you can drive them at age 16.

interesting car, I see you found out what it was. you mentioned that you were there displaying some of your work. I would be intrested in seeing some of your furniture design. I am in the design field and furniture design is something I really enjoy. You can email me or pm me if you don't want it out on the forum.

I'd be happy to show you my furniture, give me a little while to find the photos. I've never even photographed one of the tables formally and I have a lot going on right now trying to find an internship.
