Car won't start this morning!!!!

Got to work and make some money to pay for the alternator!!

It just got really cold this morning didn't it?

Why does it only start when being jump started?? I'm baffled and then runs fine, but if I leave it sit for a few hours nothing, just a couple of clicks and thats it.

WTF!!! I had my brother come and help me jump start it but I decided to give it one more try and it started right up... Wow I don't know does the weather have something to do with it?

Can it be the starter?

Do you jump start it from the engine bay, and you have the battery in the trunk?
It might be the fuse at the battery that corroded and rarely lets current through.
Happened to my buddy's car, it started up sometimes, but most of the time it just cranked and did nothing. It was that fuse in the trunk.

I had an explorer that did that, ended up being the wire did not have a good connection with the terminal clamp.

There are two positive wires coming from the battery to the front. The thick one goes to the conjunction on the firewall, and the thinner one goes to the main relay. The fuse is in the thinner wire about 10 inches from the battery.

I experienced the same thing...

Check the negative/ground cable where it attaches to the side of the car inside the trunk. mine was slightly loose, just tightened it up and no more problem.
