an m20 in a sandlot, should/ how do i pull it?

i have a chance to pick up a decent looking m20, the odo says 120 but i dont beleive it. its been sitting for a little while.

on installing my battery, it cranked over strong.. but no fire. i didnt look into it further.

    Two questions though..

Is 150 a decent price for the whole thing?

also... i have to pull it, how do i do this with the car sitting on a sandy yard?

    would you go for it?

If you've got the space, know-how, and the time to pick it up for 100-150 do it. Start rebuilding that thing for when you finally need it. Who knows, that's just my .02

            $150 is totally worth it.

is it a SAND lot or a SANDY lot. there is a difference.

bring a few sheets of plywood so you can wheel that some'bitch to pavement.

i was thinking of putting down plywood.

the problem is this though, i only have my e30 vert right now, and while it would totally handle plywood and and engine with the top down and pass seat out, it seems like too much effort to get it.

plus, i dont have an engine stand or an engine lift.. so it would be quite the pain for me to get out and home.

i feel like having a spare motor around is a good idea, but i could also just start saving more and look for an m50 or something too..

If you dont have an engine hoist, etc. I would hold off and put the money towards a 24v swap, aka money better spent. Plus, you have no clue what all the m20 needs to be reliable if it has been sitting for a few years.
