This thread is for those of us who sport the good ol' Diving Boards, and love em. List some reasons why you love your diving boards.
(People with late-models are welcome to join in on commentary. However, the traitors with early-model, retrofit plastics.....take a walk! Why you got to be ashamed?)
Tucks are ok.
So, here's why I love my diving boards:
Some prick in an Accord decides to park right behind me, and in order to get as far away from a fire hydrant as possible, sticks his nose right up onto my car. there was literally 1 inch between his front bumper and my rear. The car in front of mine is also only about 6 inches away. I am totally boxed in, cuz 2 selfish mothers decided to squeeze into spots they couldn't fit into.
So as I make my 13 point turn to pull out of my spot (good thing I have power steering), I take full advantage of my 5mph resistant bumpers. I wanted to make sure both these pricks knew they did wrong. So I had no problems bumping into either of their cars. I would simply let go of the brake and have at it.
I pull away, completely unscathed. Can't say the same for the other 2 dingleberries.
