As some of you might know I'll be getting my us residency soon, that means social and work permit ( very nice ) .

- two things I've slept on recently, new job + school. Very excited about the two.

Here's where I need your help, I'm looking for a job that will help me with school or a good paying job that I can pay for school myself.

I've contemplated working at a bank because they help with school, what do you guys think?

- some background on me, I started working when I turned 15 at a dunkin donuts, I lied about my age. back then they weren't so anal about illegal immigration and work and what not.
I worked there for 3.1/2 years, since then I've been paying my phone bill, clothes, and other amenities. I've become responsible with money and bills.
After that I worked at a friends Verizon, there I learned alot about phones and technologies, unfortunately they closed and now I'm working at their gas station, this is where I am now.

Over the years I've learned the art of customer care,it's a bitch, but what most jobs consist of.

What do you guys think? Where should I apply?

McDonalds. I know, sounds goofy but my wife manages one and they truly are a great company to work for.

Any retail or grocery chain is always a viable idea. My son works for Central Market. They are actually teaching him to cut meat.

I actually was thinking about mcdonalds, a job is just a job I don't let it demoralize me

Perhaps retail stores like Walmart or Target.....or something similar where you live. Restaurants could be another option.

If you can talk to people, being a waiter at a decent restaurant is definitely a good gig. You can make pretty good money.

My brothers make money at restaurants problem is at one point they started making too much none of them went to school I told myself I wouldn't do that n I've kid of stayed that way, I'll look into thou because I'm determined to study
