    Decided to step things up a notch...




    What is that thing? On the rear of the car? Lets take a closer look



    Is that a $50 plastic bumper with all hardware from the junkyard except the two side trim pieces?! It is! I still need to slot the bumper holes so I can move it up so it fits flush and trim the sides to fit the higher early model arches, but this was just a test fit.



    Mocking it up on the sides...



    WIth some wood and tape over here



    Old oil containers and tape on this side

    It feels so good to get rid of that heavy rear diving board!

    what are you doing about the rear valence? just an apron?

      For now Im just going to leave it how it is. lll likely get a RD or hartge apron if I could find one, or weld in a later models rear valance

        Looks good! I would definitely go for an RD valence if you can find one.
