Little update, the car left today. After 4 months of it sitting around the shop and replacing everything possible it's off to the body shop for some final touches.

As a testament to how awesome BMW Mobile Traditions really is, we were able to get 80% of what we needed new from BMW. Pretty incredible that the company still supports the M88/1 from a car they produced only 455 examples of. Wish I would've taken a few pictures of some of the parts boxes that came, some were hilariously old and vintage. Obviously shoved way in the back corner of the warehouse in Germany and forgotten over the decades under dust. All in all there were around 16 pages of part numbers ordered and replaced. Quite the project!
