What further explanation do you need?

If i in any way offended you, or commented inappropriately, then i do apologize. With that said, my comments in no way were directed at you and therefore i don't see the need for you to question my demeanor when all i was doing was answering this gentlemans ignorant, and somewhat rhetorical question. This problem is solved, and the member who my comment was in reply to should worry more about himself than the process of registering a car while on leave, in another state, without the proper information handy.

Once again, no disrespect to you.

    All enjoy your new year.

OP can just file a notice of sale if he's worried.

I didn't think so. And by the general demeanor of your words on here, i bet you will say that you do in fact pack those things, when in reality your just another strong worded inbred from North Carolina.

If I buy a car from someone I don't dick him over by not transferring the title into my name in a timely manner.

You blame the whole thing on "getting an out of state car titled is a PITA", which is pure and total BS.

You sound like a lazy, broke-ass baggypants who never does anything wrong.

Am I missing the reason everyone is so butt hurt about this guy not having registered the car in his own name yet? Release of liability, end of story...who the hell cares what the buyer does, or doesn't, do with the car/paperwork.

Please check your reading comprehension skills. If you had half of an education, you would be able to read correctly, and therefor realize that its not an out of state car, i was out of the state shortly after i purchased the car. And once again, going back to your lack of understanding about common occurrences, once the title and bill of sale are signed, the seller has every right to fill out the necessary paperwork to rid themselves of all liability surrounding the car.

In addition, to call me a broke ass baggy pants does nothing but refer to your senseless comments you post all over this site. If you must know, i do fairly well for myself, and I'm sure the seller of this car can attest to the state of my current car, where this E30 is just a project to have fun with.

So please, keep your uneducated and clearly disoriented comments to yourself. And if you wish my advice, stop being such an ass, people will like you a lot better, and you may even like yourself.

                  All my best wishes.
Merry Christmas and Happy new year.

P.S. Thank you ^ for realizing that it is not the sellers worry what i do or have done with the paperwork.

maybe it is really hard to register stuff in Florida..HAVE YOU SEEN THE WAY THEY VOTE ?

                    back to the o,p.

NEVER EVER EVER..... keep something in your name upon selling it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1

                    thats a double edge sword.

i sold a car i loved (81 datsun 2door sedan, i lowered, targa'd, and drove that car across the country twice), and just had to sell it.

the guy i sold it to, never registered, and while i was up in Alaska, i got 2 or 3 letters saying it was towed, had 2 or 3 parking tickets, and i could pick it up for a few hundred bucks, the owner just left it...(granted i sold it for a few hundred) but it was nice knowing i could fly back to Wa, and get my car back.

don't get paranoid, and know that a very small portion of criminals go out and buy a car legit, just so they can get the cops on the sellers tail...the criminals usually go out and steal a van.(preferably a uhaul)...and i just read the post from Mike...mike sounds funny as they get...roflmao!

(basically the worst that can happen is you get some parking tickets, and possibly your car back)

                    btw,
email is a legal document (if he emailed you, theres your proof)
                    hope that helps.

I have been out of town for several months and returned back to florida in the last week or so. Registering a car from out of state is not the easiest thing to do (im sure you could understand that)

In any event, You should still have all my info, and if you need to contact, do so properly.
And for what its worth, i robbed 4 banks and ran down 7 hookers while the car is in your name.

First off, eat a big fat dick.

Secondly, if I had half an education, I'd post shit that makes half-assed sense like you, I guess.

In Florida, when you register a car it only takes 20 minutes. However, when you initially register a car there someone from the DMV/Tag Agency has to come outside and literally glance at the car. There's no smog or anything like that, super easy.

E30's should be sold to people older than 30.

No brawl, just trying to set the record strait for the people who don't understand what transpired here.

I purchased a car 20 miles from my house
had to leave florida for some time
will register car when i find time to do so.

And i hope your not basing that comment on the words i said on here, because i am fairly sure any and all comments i made were well justified. Not in my nature to be an ass, but would rather let people know what is in fact going on.

This thread went on way too long, being that the OP has a copy of the bill of sale with my phone number, address, name, signature and a wad of my cash.

                                Happy new years.
