    Rear Fog question

I am about to embark on this mod, I have a rear fog switch and know how to modify the bulb carrier. The only thing i am uncertain on is if i should use a relay. I do not know why i should because i was going to run a fused power from somewhere to the switch then to the rear fog then common ground.

    Any and all input please

    thanks

Yes, you should run it through a relay. I forget what the amperage rating on the switch is, but its low. The rear fog lights alone will pull more than the switch will allow, so after a while, the switch will die. Do it right, give it a relay.

    Fire is bad, mmmkay.

thank you for the help, Foglight is installed and working properly. If anyone has any questions on modifying the bulb carrier or wiring so that it looks factory Pm me. Took about 4 hours with lunch, screwing around and a few trips to the hardware store. Looks awesome
