Just picked this game up for PS2 so far I have the M3 Sport Evo and have seen M1's so if your lookin for a racing game with Bmws this is it.

sounds/looks kinda like gran turismo.. How old is it? How many cars, is it arcade racing or more of a simulation?

Physics are much better than gran in my opinion. level of customizing based on wins and points earnd upgrade aspects of cars automaticly but can still customize gear ratios etc. So its not as in depth nor can u buy cars u move to diffrent classes based on wins and then andomly win all cars in class.

How old is it?

Release very recently. I'm guessing within the last month or so. Its got cars that should've gone into GT4.

It was posted on here and S14 not long ago but there was never a date on it. Im gonna go rent it and borrow my buddies PS2. If its any good I might just break down and buy a PS2.

i was just looking at screenshots and a few short vids, and it looks like a good game. I saw a bunch of cars not on gt4 including some different classics. Hmm, i just hope its not so japanese and skyline based. Seriously, there must be 50 different skylines on gt4?? Gran Turismo has always been aimed at having the jap cars be king. Youd be able to make a civic with 700hp, but a camaro or vette with the classic chevy 350 only be able to have 800? Not to mention turbo cars with very high hp that could run more than a few laps around a track? I dont think thats very realistic.

The game came out this week.

What series/races did you run where the M3 started popping up? I've only been able to sit down and play for about a half hour or so.

Initial thoughts: A serious physics model, better than GT4's, but I like GT4's tracks better. The VGS system is a track/driver's school junkie's wet dream. The points deal is interesting, and forces you to drive smart. Computer AI is a hell of a lot better than GT so far. With my Logitech GT pro wheel, the game is great, haven't tried it with the control pad yet, probably won't.

I gotta ask though, what the hell is with the intro cutscene in the game?

Just got it, I'm starting out with the Suzuki Cappuccino. Kind of ticks me out, you can't use the D-Pad ?!?!?

i'm lovin gt4, just bought it the other night (finally) - i'm going to buy enthusia just because it has the e30 m3 in it; but from what i gather its not nearly as good as gt4
