Ya I use to work at the shop where that car was built. The car is super clean and fine example of a r34.
The owner builds lots of high end cars and that's just one.
There is a air jacking system routed through the cage that has a fitting in the back of trunk for a compressed gas that will raise the car about foot and half off the ground to change do minor things like change wheels and brakes and what not.
The car hasn't been running well for the past few years but just got a new tune and is only running about 460 hp right now.
Also this is one of the very few legit cars brought into the us that doesn't have to leave besides kaizo and the earlier importer.

That "cage" looks retarded.

"the cage" is probably one of the best set up cages i have ever seen. I could see that car rolling 8-9x and driver walking away. Not to mention the chassis stiffness that would come from it. Just because its been painted and fancied up does not mean its retarded it means the owner likes form just as much as function. And that engine is probably worth more then most cars on this forum. Before you get to the chassis/suspension work.

That cage is NOT built right at all. Major structural/safety components should NOT have bends in them, period. I don't give a shit how good your bender or welder is, any bends will significantly weaken the tube in the event of an impact.

Also I see lots of places where the tubes are not tied in at nodes but rather at midpoints of other tubes. Again, big no-no. What happens when a longitudinal force is applied to that tube? It's going to bend the shit out of the one it's tied in to and the whole thing will collapse.

The engine looks nice, sure. I'll give you that.
