I meant even with some of the lowest population density in the country, we still have dudes driving imported JDM RHD cars like nipples, and crashing them. -
eh? I don't know what you mean by that...
I sort of knew a guy who killed himself and 3 other people in a RHD 7. Was unfortunate but it was a super sick car and buddy drove it like an idiot honestly. Caught air going over a hill on a backroad, landed and lost control, hit a Hyndai head on. Sad situation overall but you can't blame it on what side of the car he was sitting on. A LHD sports car would have done the same thing.Leave a comment:

fuck... now what?
also, there are tons of right hand drive cars in Canada, 15 year rule makes it simple and "mostly" affordable.
people are getting uptight about the safety of these cars here, and I call bullshit.
it isn't the RHD Toyota land cruisers, or Nissan trucks and what not getting in the accidents, its the rx-7's, Skyline's (GT-R's and GTS-T's) and Sylvias...you know, the sporting cars who are being driven by the young sideways hat wearing douchebag/ Dick-tuggers types.
I dot blame the vehicles, I blame the baggypants dipshit douche-nozzles driving them.
too bad too, because a R32 GT-R would be a fucking ball to rip on, and they are going to get banned with all the pukes crashing into everything.
two kids got killed here 2 years ago in a JDM RX-7, and there are like 7 people that live in NS...I mean it.Leave a comment:

If I'm turning left against traffic with no protected left I wait until I clearly see there is no traffic coming towards me, just like anybody else should do. Seriously, I'm a couple feet in the other direction. So true, how can you safely take a left turn in heavy traffic when you can't see the traffic coming towards you? I have seen two crashes in the last six months involving RHD cars getting t-boned while turning left at traffic lights.
RHD JDM imports are freaking everywhere here.
I have friends who drive their RHD vehicles with no problems too. It takes a little more caution but luckily I grew out of driving like a retard and now I'm super cautious, especially around town.
Now I'll ask you, too. Have you ever driven a RHD car?Leave a comment:

There's thousands here too. RHD Skylines, Supras and FD RX7's everywhere.
I used to argue that they were dangerous and the devil and blah blah, but in reality if you're a good driver they're no more dangerous than a LHD car. It's the bad drivers in RHD cars that multiply the dangerous factor, but they're bad drivers no matter what they're driving. Japan doesn't have the same problem and they have practically as many LHD cars as RHD.
And yes, most here are owned by sideways hat wearing douchebags too.Leave a comment:

Yeah, those do seem rather silly. Putting real Centerlock/Drive-pin mounts on your car isn't exactly difficult (at least on an e30). I'm not sure why you'd want to though. Carrying an impact wrench and a four-foot torque-wrench around for wheel changes seems like it would be a hassle anywhere but on the track. Those "One Lug" wheels are just fugly too.Leave a comment:
