How well do E36 or E46 floormats fit the E30?

I'd like to get cheap gray or black E30 floormats, but they're hard to find. How well do the newer ones fit? Will they distract my clutch depression?

They don't fit very well at all.

The e46 ones fit ok, but the passenger is a bit wide at the top and the drivers has to be cut around the gas pedal.

get z3 floor mats. they fit rather well.

Just get factory floor mats $125, perfect fit and great quality.

Regarding the Z3 mats, isn't there a "Z3" logo on them?

Anyway, the Bavauto mats are too expensive for me. :(
