It'd better be a really rare wheel because that's not going to be cheap.

It's an Mtech II wheel with new leather stitched in M colored threads.

What makes you say that? It shouldn't be more than finding the right broach and pressing it through.

NOW - the kicker is - how badly is it stripped? Problem is, there's only so much material there and if it's one size larger, the male end has to be enlarged too....lol

Wow, what happened there? Sorry to see all the back luck you've had with M-tech II steering wheels.

I doubt it. With a such a fine spline i'm sure it's stripped beyond that. they'll have to enlarge the hole in the wheel and make an insert to beast the two. Definitely doable but not likely at less than the cost of a brand new wheel. I hope you can find someone to do it!

Look for a shop that specializes in gearcutting.

Maybe buy a cheap regular e30 wheel, and see what it takes to remove the splines? Maybe a heatgun would help, cause it kinda looks like its just bonded in there with adhesive. Good luck with it though. Sounds frustrating.
