front door power lock actuator Question

my drivers door only locks both doors, trunk when the key is turned all the way 90 degrees. The first lock point(45 degrees) dont lock anything.

Would a new door power lock actuator fix this?

    Thanks

There is only 1 actuator in each door. Your issue might be one of adjustment, perhaps bent pushrods. Does everything else work perfectly?

Can you pull they key out with it horizontal?

didnt try the key being pulled out in the horizontal position yet but everything else seems to work fine.
So ya think something in side is bent?

^I would bet that your problem is just the actuator in the trunk isn“t working. check to see if it is even stll plugged in.

There is a good inch or more of travel in the actuator adjustments

My vert is same (90deg) to lock doors and then you have to pull key out horizontal or doors unlock. My hardtop is 45 then back go center, kinda thought it was design differences.

Yep everything seems to work alright but the first lock(right).
I need to just try another door switch, put it in and see if it works?

Thinking I need to try this guy?

Archie, grab that actuator, plug it in and see if moving that piston in and out runs the central locking system. If it does not, swap with another actuator.

If no dice, the issue is in your door wiring or that HUGE mess behind your left front speaker.

Let me know what you find, we will take it from there.
