    take off the bezel and stick popsicle sticks down the side to disengage the tabs.

      Does this really work? Cause I have to solder a new backlight to my OBC and I have nooooooo clue how to get the HU out.

        I did about the same thing with a couple of picks. One angled 90 degrees the other offset about 30 degrees. I felt the HU pop forward a bit both sides at once.

        Did the trick.

            all you need is to slide two butterknives in on each side of the unit, and that will press the tabs in and allow the whole thing to slide out.

                    No keys but they look like they would work for sure.

                    Trying to decide do I want to try to install myself or pay for a "pro" installation. Probably some hack job at CarToys or something. Unless anyone in the DFW area would care to assist or bid the job.

                      Do it yourself, you can't learn if you don't try, anyway, you should be able to purchase an adapter harness to go from your factory harness to your stereo, crutchfield, or best buy should be able to help, beyond that, it is a relatively simple process, GANGSTA!
