PRO3 finished 2010 with record entry counts and strong support from our series sponsors. PRO3 now have 50 built BMW E30 race cars racing at tracks in the Pacific Northwest. The series averaged 20 cars per race in 2010, up from 18 cars in 2009. The largest field was 37 cars in July. PRO3 run under sanctioning body ICSCC (www.ICSCC.com).
2010 highlights included PRO3 running as a support race for the NASCAR K&N B-Mart 125 at Portland International Raceway.
The PRO3 champion for 2010 was #59 Jeff Van Lierop from Olympia, Washington. This is Jeff’s third PRO3 championship, also taking the title in 2007 and 2008.
