As for the original topic. You fucked up, we all have. The point is to man-up and suffer the consequences. Yeah it sucks that there was shit in the road but that is the RISK you take when you push the limits on public roads, if its not dust its a squirrel, rain, kid, ect.... Its not the citys fault and you dont have a chance of winning a court battle. Welcome to contributory negligence, it will be more your fault for not heeding the suggestions (which are laws in many states).

Just be glad all you did was ball up some old shitty car instead of someones life.

Well.....i was going 60 in a 60...

It was a recommendation 45 but the speed limit was 60. I was going 60. This is what i ussually always take this road at, not really even a big deal at 60 in the e30.

You were going 60 in a recommended 45. The curve of the road is also a CONDITION of the road...60 is obviously too fast for that curve. Who cares if the 30 can take it at that. It is posted 45 as the state feels that is a safe limit.

You were pushing a corner, you hit a spot that messed up your precious mu you were clinging so tightly too, and you biffed it. It is unfortunate, but it happend.

Had you been going the posted 45, and still had trouble on the corner, you might have a case. But as you were going 20 mph the "safe speed for conditions" you are screwed. Sorry...
