Car broke down last night, have no tow hook, what do i do?

    yes it does, only for a few secs though to prime the fuel system

      I can vouch for this, being towed by a YJ jeep with a rope and hardly any brakes is a disaster waiting to happen. I also fucked up my valence after the strap broke and got stuck under my tire :(

        I suppose its good i had it trucked here all thing considered, the rx7's brakes are quite massive compared the the 3 series, i actually drove my old one for months with a shot booster with no trouble. Anyways, due to being up all night i need a fucking nap before i take on this fuel issue, starting refreshed should help figure it out quicker. Also a note the check engine light is on.

          be glad you had it toed.. i've used the tow hook and a tow strap and i hated it.

              I towed my parts car shell to the scrap yard with no windshield, engine or pedals via a tow strap no problem. E-brake works fine, you just have to pay attention and have a person that knows what they are doing towing. I've towed my Jetta with a strap several times as well (piece of shit brakes down WAY to often).

                yeah as long as tension is kept on the strap its smooth sailing.
