I am putting a reconditioned head onto a stroker block I acquired and I am not sure about something. The head was returned to me not in top dead center, and I don't know what to do. Should I try and spin the timing wheel in order to get it where it needs to be before putting the head on, or after? Should I take an entirely different approach? Thank you.

turn it to TDC and put it on -
Hopefully I am not too much of a n00b, but how am I supposed to rotate the camshaft? I can't seem to do it by hand and I am weary of using tools because I would prefer not to mar any of the oil-less metal parts.Comment

put a socket on the bolt on the cam wheel and turn it clockwise.
spray it down with some oil firstComment
