    Alright fellas,
I went to look at this car and am not sure......there is surface rust in all the wheel wells and along the rocker panels. Nothing was "rusted through." All the panels are straight and there are almost no dings...

It runs and drives great, and has a lot of cool parts on it. There is an OEM window shade built into the rear deck that I have not seen before.

He said the original wheels were in the trunk and I was quietly hoping for euroweaves but...bottle caps.

The interior is sweet except blue interior is not one of my favorites.

I can have the car for $1600.

I am thinking that if I get into it and the rust is too bad I can swap all the eurogoodies along with the 5 speed into my cabbie. And recoup some of my money parting out the rest of the car..

^ that sounds like a pretty good plan. It does look to be in decent condition though. Oh, and the blue interior is sweet!

Sure that car is EU spec? Someone could just hung EU bumpers on it and said there it's EU spec. Has Seal beams and has electric windows which are not common on E30's in EU as they cost more money. While I do see the factory dead bolt key hole. Does it function?

What is worth? About what Mike mentioned but finding a good clean chassis is getting tougher by the years. When I was in Germany two weeks ago I saw NO e30's on the road granted the blizzard pretty much stopped everyone from driving but I did see a few E36 and plenty of E32 and E34's.

Got for it! Your cabrio would look killer with them bumpers if you part it out but it would be nice to have a euro car.

Edit. On second thought, that car looks salvagable. Bring it back right!

Seems like a euro car, missing the diving board brackets, but also missing the side markers. Those rear window shades are pretty rare. I would go for it if even only for the euro goodies.

I'd say save the car. Euro cars are getting rare, US cars with swapped euro parts are never the same.

Glad you picking it up. It'll be nice to see it here on the forum. I appreciate seeing a car like this brought back to life. I know it runs and all, but this car has some much potential.

that is the oem aero kit for euro bumpers.

                                for $1600 i'd definitely buy it. shit, i'd buy a crappier e30 for $1600.
