Anynoe know the downsides of the Z3M roadsters?

Have a friend interested in the following car. He's also not keen on the rear spoiler, and is looking at getting it removed professionally if he picks this car up.

Personally, I'm more keen on the Mcoupe, but I guess it's a preference thing.

    thanks in advance

If your friend is a girl she should go for it, sweet car.

E36/8 or 6 or whatever the code name is, are the best built of the platform. The interior is the best mix of e30 and e36 style and isn't your typical e36 floppy door panel finish. The front end is all the common e36 problems such as the engine cooling and control arm bushings where as the rear end is the e30; which would be the rear shock mounts.

Fun cars, wouldn't mind DD one.

Has an E30 style diff and rear end, there is no Diff Nose bolt to rip out like on all other E36's except for the Ti.

Wait for an S54 powered one. Will cost more but oh the sounds of S54 vs S52 are worth it.

My dad has a non-M one. He had a few problems with the top, I think he went through 3 motors before giving up and leaving it manual operation.

I have an mcoupe. So far it's been a great car. Handles great, has enough power (s52, wish it was s54 but it cost quite a bit less). I replaced the RSM's almost right away on a 52k car. They were noisy as hell. Otherwise the diff issue is the only big issue I've noticed. Mine is fine at the moment but I've set aside 1,000 bucks just incase it starts to go.

It's like a modern e30. Quite easy to throw the rear end around also.
