    318is, 1750$ yes or no?

I test drived a 318is a week ago. Guy was asking 2200$. Theres a lot of stuff to do on it like alternator, wheel bearings. Cars been hit in the front and it's been repaired but the grill isn't aligned with the bumper and the hood sticks out a bit in front. The center console is fucked up..anyway you get the picture...theres stuff to do on it. Aside from the accident the body seems fine, it's rust free. Anyway, he called me today and said he dropped his price to 1750$. Obviously he's desperate and didn't get any other prospect buyers but I'm wondering if it's worth it. I'm a full time student and I work part time so I'm not rich. Keep in mind it's 1750$ canadian dollars. Thanks

I'd keep in the market for a car without as many problems, the price may be cheaper but when you have $1000 of repair to do you'll second guess your decision

it depends if you would have a lot of time to work on it or not. Maybe offer 1600

I agree. If you're confident with your auto repair skills and can fix what is wrong with this ride without killing your wallet, then go for it. Otherwise, walk away and go find another example. From the way you describe it, I wouldn't get it.

that's what I thought, besides I've gotten in touch with another guy selling a 318is. My mechanic skills are still very very basic...Ive only recently discovered my liking of fixing car stuff
