How rare is a 5spd lachssilber metallic E30 convertible?
I just picked one up and was just curious. It is really hard finding out any info. I see lots of black white and red verts. It seems like the other colors not so much. Thanks for any help

Definitely less common than black/white/red. I bought my first BMW back in '97, a Lachs/Cardinal '87 'vert. Loved that car. Got t-boned eleven months after I got it and tried like hell for over a year to find a matching replacement but didn't have any luck. I ended up getting the e23 745i that I still have.

Of course, the internet market wasn't like it is now either, so it probably wouldn't be as tough these days. Hmm, mine was originally sold new in Towson, MD... Maybe Maryland is the nexus of the Lachssilber 'vert universe, lol.

I had one with a black interior, a 87. It doesnt have boxy Racing Dynamic skirts does it?

That's wild my car is an 87 with cardinal. Was yours a 5spd? Most 325i verts I have come across are autos. I personally have just never seen another one I know they are out there. Why doesn't BMW offer any production numbers on there cars?

i have a bronzit 5-speed with pearl interior. its also got this custom paint job from the PO going through the carwash with it all the time. sorta burnished bronzit....
