I had a black/black E32 740i for a while, with some pretty dark tint on the windows. If I used a sunshade in parking spots, it dropped the interior temp by a good 15 to 20 degrees.

Of course, this was before I discovered the automatic vent option.

Good to hear things are going well bro. Maybe get a daily driver that has AC?

Better yet, figure out how to hook up a lexus or toyota AC system to an E30. That would = teh cold.

Acclimated??? I've been here 6 years and still can't get used to it. I came from Kansas where the heat during the day is well over 100 for a lot of July and August days. Never bothered me that much, but this 95 degree high humidity stuff just sucks, worst part is it doesn't cool down at night. I'm still running AC at 2am! I'm moving as soon as I can get out of this hell hole of a city :D

It's worth it. I tinted my black on black sedan and noticed a big difference. My e34 has all black interior and nice tint on the windows, stays much cooler than my wife's touring with no tint and blue interior side by side.

Glad to hear from you, Jordan. Its good to hear that youre doing relatively well (besides heat and expected beauracracy troubles). Up here its still like 70-80, last few days were cloudy, but its back to being SoCal.
