It gets tons of attention. It's a real chick magnet. To bad you can only fit 12 girls in it.


I just had my exhaust welded last friday, and all was good for a couple of minutes until my clutch broke.

Ok ok, driven the mini I think 4 times so far and have gotten WAY more attention than I do when I cruise the M3! What gives? :sad::p

I get both extremes when I drive mine. Sometimes people get all excited and point and give me the thumbs up. Other times, people couldn't care less.

I just drove my Mini again today after being parked for a while. I just installed adjustable camber/toe plates in the rear and adjustable control arms in the front for camber/caster. It's much better now with a good alignment. I still need to figure out how to properly tune the carb.

Wanna buy the guy a beer who planned this. 12 chicks cramming into a mini and making them all wear mini skirts. ha! Love it!

Working the bugs out on mine also. Driven it a few times now and every thing is still out of whack on it.

I used to play with rc cars all the time! I broke them all the time too, and then I got a rock crawler. They are a lot harder to break!

What does a Mini weigh all said and done? I would love to drive one some day.

Mk 1 Minis are 1380 lbs (approx) , did they really add over 800 lbs over the years? Seems unlikely.

That above weight (2247lb) does seem a bit high now that you mention it.

You oughta get yours weighed to find out exactly. It seems that the weight you listed may be the maximum weight fully loaded with passengers and things.
